Why do we love it?

Grifos Rosé 2021 from Silva Daskalaki Winery is a single‑varietal wine made from Kotsifali, sourced from the estate’s oldest vineyards in Heraklion, Crete. It impresses with its structure, intensity, and excellent gastronomic versatility.

The fermentation of Grifos Rosé 2021 takes place in clay amphorae using indigenous yeasts. The wine ferments with the skins acquiring dense structure and impressive color. It is bottled unfiltered and without any additives.

A truly “natural” and gastronomic rosé!

Silva Daskalaki Winery

Irini Daskalaki Xenogiannaki, in 1998 started the revival of the family vineyards, continuing a tradition that has its roots back to 1920. The winery Silva Daskalaki is located in the village of Siva, in the prefecture of Heraklion with its name coming from God Siva ( Dionysos), and the vines belong to the PDO Dafnes. The long-standing secrets of the family are combined with new techniques and result in unique wines of local and international varieties, which highlight the special terroir of the area.

Enjoy it with sweet‑and‑sour chicken, vegetable noodles, or tomato‑based Greek dishes (ladera).
