Do you think the best white wines of the Peloponnese are made only from Moschofilero? With Monolithos White from Ktima Bairaktaris, it’s time to revisit that! Three different grape varieties join forces to create one of the tastiest white wines we’ve tried this year!
Ktima Bairaktaris is located in Nemea, surrounded by Agiorgitiko vines. The Bairaktaris family has been involved with vines and wine for many generations. Since 2005, when Christos Bairaktaris took over, a fresh breeze of renewal has swept through the estate, first reflected in the modern, minimal labels of its wines. Monolithos White from Ktima Bairaktaris is an aromatic white wine that combines experience with modern techniques. The blend consists of three varieties: 40% Malagousia, 30% Assyrtiko, and 30% Muscat, grown at an altitude of 800 meters. In the final blend, the sharp acidity of Assyrtiko pairs beautifully with the rose-like character of Muscat and the juicy stone fruit of Malagousia.
Monolithos White from Ktima Bairaktaris is a delightful white wine you’ll love!
