Why do we love it?

It is no secret that Mantinia Bosinakis is one of the most beautiful Moschofileros out there! In fact, if you were lucky enough to taste some old vintages of this Mantinia, you will surely have found that it is a Moschofilero with bold character and impressive possibilities!

With the history of the winery starting only in 2009, the two young brothers Katerina and Sotiris Bosinakis have already proved that with experimentation and perseverance, Moschofilero can give great wines, with beautiful evolution over time! How is this achieved?

For Mantinia Bosinakis, the grapes come from selected vineyards in Steno, Lithovounia, and Agiorgitika. A longer, than usual, extraction follows. This is responsible for both the impressive color of the wine and its striking aromatic character. The result is truly enchanting!

And if you can restrain yourself, keep it for 2-3 years! Believe us, you will be amazed...

Tastes Like

Mantineia Bosinakis Winery has pale lemon color with salmon hues and impressive aromas of rose, jasmine, orange blossom, lemon, citron, and green apple. In the mouth, it has medium body and refreshing acidity. Juicy lemon, citron, lime, and grapefruit are accompanied by notes of Turkish delight, bergamot, and ginger.

with pasta with salmon, stuffed squid on the grill, chicken with butter - lemon sauce, sea bass, or sole fish a la meuniere.

Chicken with zucchinis

  • 1 kg. chicken breast
  • 750 gr. zucchinis
  • 1 onion
  • 2-3 green onions
  • 1 chicken stock cube
  • 100 ml. olive oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 lemons
  • Salt
  • Pepper

 

Once the breast is cut into smaller fillets, mix in a bowl half the olive oil along with the chicken stock, until a mixture is made and the chicken is dipped. Put the fillets in a non-stick pan until they are evenly browned. Transfer the fillets to a saucepan and, in the pan, add the onion and sauté it in medium heat. Then mix the onion with the chicken. Put the pot on medium heat and add 1 cup of hot water. Simmer for 20 minutes, add zucchinis and chopped green onions, plus freshly ground pepper and salt if necessary.

Prepare the egg yolk by whipping the egg whites, add the yolks, the juice from 2 lemons and finally the hot liquid from the pan.

Pour in the egg sauce, and keep churning until it has been incorporated into the food.
