Why do we love it?
Moschopolis 6 by Moschopolis Winery, is a stunning white wine from the most perfect and unique Greek blend, Assyrtiko and Xinomavro! Every time we taste it, we fall in love with it over and over again. Each year it exceeds our expectations!

Dr. George Germanis has gained his great wine experience as a consultant in iconic wineries for over 30 years. With the help of his son Thodoris, his son-in-law Dimitris and his daughter Alice, he decided to create his own wines and tell his own stories through them. He knows exactly what needs to be done in the vineyard to get the most perfect result. And he does it. For Moschopolis 6, Assyrtiko is cultivated in a dry and stony seaside family vineyard. By completely changing the image we have of the vines of the variety, the grapes hang at a height of 1.8m for protection from the sun and high temperatures. Xinomavro is vinified by the blanc de noir method and is added to the blend at about 10%. Few interventions, indigenous yeasts, and unfiltered bottling help create an expressive wine that says everything the creator wants to say, while keeping secrets you'll discover later if you keep it in your cellar for 3-4 years.

Meat or fish doesn't matter, Moschopolis 6 is a wine for great emotions.
Tastes Like

Gentle lemon yellow color with greenish hues in the glass.

Rich, expressive in the nose, with its aromas opening and evolving minute by minute. Melon and banana make the beginning, followed by peach and citrus. Then the flowers come into play. Chamomile, honeysuckle, hyacinth and lemon blossom gradually express themselves in the glass. The discreet barrel is expressed with vanilla, butter and caramel. The diffused minerality in the form of wet stone is present throughout, while petroleum aromas lurk in the corner.

Full bodied, with a greasy feeling and vivid acidity that perfectly balances the palate. Lime, peach and braids get a buttery feel while the barrel that is more pronounced, adding vanilla, nuts and a light feel of caramel. The long finish leaves a slightly nutty taste of bitter almond with a long duration.
