How about an extra aromatic Greek Sauvignon Blanc drowned in exotic fruit? We liked Sauvignon Blanc Apostolidis for many reasons and one of them is its extra aromatic profile, so get the goat cheese out of the fridge! And because "nothing comes from nothing" as the song says, this Sauvignon Blanc has foundations and even strong ones...
The Apostolidis Estate planted its first vine in the Dialecto of Kavala and while it manifested its love for wine in 1958 as an amateur, it made its official debut later. Today it operates under the third generation of winemakers with Vassiliki and Efthimios Apostolidis. The two children believe in the expression of diversity, of nature, and that is why they have divided the areas of their vineyards, depending on the soil and the microclimate. Last but not least, they have also adopted the principles of biodynamic cultivation!
Sauvignon Blanc Apostolidis comes from the Paleochori vineyard, which is the highest compared to the others of the estate. The red soil dominates there, Terra Rossa as we call it, which gives its own character to the wine. Sauvignon Blanc Apostolidis received countless care in the vineyard, carefully picked and after fermentation, it remained on its lees for 4 months.
We recommend a case because... you will understand!
