The Terre de Zeus Malagouzia from the Navitas winery has the classic and much-loved style of this musky and rich variety, but it also throws in an extra refreshing acidity, and that's where it wins you over even more. Now that all the summer delicacies will have their due, you will not find a better wine for pairing and daily enjoyment.
Maria Dimitriadis was why the winery took a breath of fresh air and in 2015 turned towards the path of world awards and very high-quality wines. After her studies in psychology, she wanted to devote herself to the regeneration of the family vineyard in Litochoro, at the foot of Olympus, and in 2020 she made the first harvest. A companion in this venture was the oenologist Grigoris Sotiriadis and in 2021 they put their first wines on the market. Since then, they have been impressing the Greek audience every year, while they have also made their presence felt in international competitions. In addition to the vegan certification, the winery also obtained the certification of organic cultivation while operating with the logic of sustainable energy (with less burden on the environment!).
Malagouzia Terre de Zeus is a single vineyard, like the entire series of the same name. The vine is 22 years old and the grapes ferment in stainless steel tanks with classic white vinification and remain in contact with the lees for 3 months which enhances the oiliness of the wine. But the biting acidity, something rare for the musky Malagouzia, brought the perfect balance to a very enjoyable wine.
You should try it!
