We have always said that Vidiano will run a 100-meter sprint in winemaking and become the next big thing. And finally, we weren't lying, but we weren't the only ones who supported it either...Vidiano - Warehouse 10 from the most luxurious "warehouse" in Greece!
Stellios Boutaris took over the Kir-Yianni Estate, his father's creation, continuing its brilliant and upward trajectory. The vineyard of the estate is now one of the largest in Greece and every year the estate sweeps the awards in world competitions. The experiments they do are never random and always pay off, as a result, the wines are looking for the space that will become their secret home. And then Warehouse 10 happened! The warehouse cellar, in Giannakochori, in which there are unfinished and finished diamonds of many years, uncirculated and not...
One of them is Vidiano - Warehouse 10, with Vidiano grapes from outside their birthplace. Stellios, after conquering the Aegean wine-making, proceeded southeast of Komotini, where Sakis Katsaridis gave a step to the Cretan variety to highlight its enormous potential. The sandy loamy soils of Maronia and the cold climate of the region gave Vidiano rich stone fruit aromas, with a touch of elegant minerality. Tank fermentation preserved the freshness of the variety and highlighted its particular oily texture.
At least one of only 1157 bottles of this special Vidiano, you should definitely have to taste it.
