Why do we love it?

Moschofilero Ypsilon Papagiannakopoulos Winery is a different version of the beloved white grape variety. What do we mean by this? Yes, it smells of jasmine, white rose and lemon blossoms but it has so many more to say. It has a botanical and lemony dimension that will conquer even those who don't like Moschofilero.

Having cut his teeth at some of Greece’s most prestigious wineries, Panos Papagiannakopoulos decided to bring his extensive experience to Nemea, establishing a home for the kinds of wines he personally loves to drink. His debut, Moschofilero Ypsilon, is a masterclass in this iconic Peloponnesian variety. Although Moschofilero is a grayish-pink grape typically vinified into whites with subtle gray or orange hues, Panos opts for an approach that emphasizes crystalline purity. While it retains the classic aromas of rose, 'loukoumi' (Turkish delight), and white-fleshed fruits, Ypsilon stands out with a steely acidity and a structured precision that defies the ordinary."

Try it and you'll be amazed!
