DOMAINE KARANIKA
Domaine Karanika is located on a slope on the banks of Lake Vegoritida, between the villages of Amynteo, Begoura, and Lakkia. Laurens M. Hartman - Karanika and his wife Annette van Kampen who were born and raised in the Netherlands and are the owners of the Domaine Karanika, were trained as winegrowers and oenologists, both in Europe and the United States, before coming to Greece to grow their favorite Xinomavro. With dedication to biodynamic and organic farming, they produce traditional method (Méthode Traditionelle) wines, perhaps the best Greek sparkling wines.
