ILIANA MALIHIN
Iliana Malihin is a dynamic winemaker whose name has become synonymous with the revival of Rethymno’s historic vineyards. Based in the mountainous villages of Melambes and Fourfouras in Crete, Malihin practices organic viticulture and crafts wines with minimal intervention, native yeasts, and low sulfites highlighting the unique terroir of high-altitude Crete. Working with rare, ungrafted pre-phylloxera vines and indigenous varieties such as Vidiano, Thrapsathiri, and Liatiko, she creates soulful, authentic wines with depth and clarity telling the story of the land through a contemporary lens and profound sensitivity.
