BARONE RICASOLI
Barone Ricasoli, founded in 1141, is Italy’s oldest winery and a historic icon of Chianti Classico wines. At the heart of the estate lies Brolio Castle, where Baron Bettino Ricasoli first originated the formula for the Chianti wine and championed Sangiovese. With 240 ha of vineyards over 19 unique soil types, the estate produces terroir-driven, single-vineyard wines of great elegance and depth. Today, under Francesco Ricasoli, the 32nd generation, the winery combines tradition with cutting-edge technology and Equalitas-certified sustainability, protecting vast woodlands and biodiversity.
