ZOUMBERAKI WINERY
Zoumberakis Vineyards is a family-run winery located in Kali Sykia, Rethymno, nestled at the foot of Mount Kryoneri in Crete. The Zoumberakis family has been involved in viticulture and winemaking for three generations, passing down deep knowledge and a strong connection to the land. In 1996, the winery entered a new era with the construction of a modern 1,000 sq. meter facility, equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Their vineyards sit at an altitude of 600–800 meters, on slate-rich soils ideal for organic farming, certified by the DIO organization. Ζoumberakis’ philosophy centers on respect for nature, high-quality production, and low inrevention winemaking. The winery has become a local landmark, offering authentic experiences that celebrate Cretan wine culture and tradition.
